Li Shulin and Amamiya Hayashi in Springtime...
"Towards the end of the Edo era in feudal Japan, before the birth of sorcerer Clow Reed, the tides were changing as a powerful bond of five individuals was in the forging. It was a mild spring day when the cherry blossoms were in full bloom that Amamiya Hayashi, ancestor to one who would be known as Card Captor Kinomoto Sakura, and Li Shulin, ancestor to the Chosen One Li Syaoran, met for the very first time. Some may look back and reflect that this meeting was just the unfolding of another tragedy. But at that time, for the two, it could have been the start of a pure and deep connection that could not be frayed by time, dimension or space." - The Legacy of the Five Forces Chapter 2 from my fanfiction The New Trials of Card Captor Sakura [link] *** Li Shulin is Clow Reed's mother and Syaoran's far ancestor and Amamiya Hayashi is Sakura's far-off ancestor. I actually really like how this piece came out. It capture the whole essense of "new beginning." : ) |

I like the hair piece that Shulin is wearing. And it's nice that we can see a bit of Sakura and Syaoran in their appropriate ancestors (in the eye color, and a bit of hair).
