Young Li Syaoran training to become the Chosen One in Hong Kong, helped by his older cousin Li Leiyun. I always wanted to draw a picture of young Syaoran trying to lift up a sword taller than he is. We all know how stubborn Syaoran is, and Leiyun is helping his favorite little cousin out. We learn more about Li Leiyun at the end of Chapter 27 of my Card Captor Sakura fanfiction New Trials which can also be found at fanfiction.net, [link] when Syaoran talks about his childhood to Sakura. The two are training in the Li Clan Main House, and were at the time the only two pupils of the Great Elder.

Lineart is very rough pencil sketch, colored with Wacom Tablet on Adobe Photoshop 7.0. I never really meant to color this picture, but I like how the overall atmosphere turned out. This is sort of mirror of the young Sakura and Touya sketch I drew on my website. As I mentioned before, I have taken to drawning children lately. Lol... But even when he was so young, Syaoran was still very serious. ^_^. Please downlaod for larger view!

That's true. I actually thought it was them before I clicked on the thumbnail. Great job, in any case.

I would say this is precious, but I want to stab Leiyun with that sword for the horribly twisted man he's become. He's worse than Clow Reed. I know you have something up your sleeve, but I swear nothing will change my opinion of him or that horrible family.

FYI: I loved the chapter and the crazed mess that's unravelling inside it, but I was truly and completely shocked when I got to the cliffhanger of last month's chapter. Great job! ^^

Hey again Wishluv.
This has to be one of my favourite pictures you've done and is my favourite Syaoran (without Sakura in it) picture, even though Leiyun in it, i have no idea whether I like him or not, he seems to be guy who a bit like Clow Reed, who lays out a couple of cards, and then sits back and watches the show unfold before him.
Once again I love the picture!

OMG, OMG, OMG!!!!

I was so excited when I saw that you had a new fan art up, and I just can't get over how *beautiful* this picture is!!! Syaoran is so precious, and excellent job at nailing Leiyun's blue eyes. I love how the style of the clothes is so Hong Kong. And the background is breath-taking. YAY WISH-CHAN!!!!!!!!
