Young Li Syaoran training to become the Chosen One in Hong Kong, helped by his older cousin Li Leiyun. I always wanted to draw a picture of young Syaoran trying to lift up a sword taller than he is. We all know how stubborn Syaoran is, and Leiyun is helping his favorite little cousin out. We learn more about Li Leiyun at the end of Chapter 27 of my Card Captor Sakura fanfiction New Trials which can also be found at fanfiction.net, [link] when Syaoran talks about his childhood to Sakura. The two are training in the Li Clan Main House, and were at the time the only two pupils of the Great Elder.

Lineart is very rough pencil sketch, colored with Wacom Tablet on Adobe Photoshop 7.0. I never really meant to color this picture, but I like how the overall atmosphere turned out. This is sort of mirror of the young Sakura and Touya sketch I drew on my website. As I mentioned before, I have taken to drawning children lately. Lol...
